Bro. Russell & his family of 3 children, Philip, Hunter and Hannah, came to FBC in May 2007. He is joyfully married to Connie who has worked with the mentally disabled for over 10 years.
"My desire is to be used by God to develop a church that desires to worship in spirit and truth. This may be through solos, small groups, drama, children's choir, youth & adult choir, or corporate worship. It did not take long to see that FBC DeKalb is a place that wants to become a family of true worshipers."
Russell has been involved in leading worship, both full time and bi-vocational, for over 15 years. Growing up in Baptist churches all over Texas, he brings a very wide array of experience to First Baptist.
